Pets are accepted for grooming only under the following circumstances....
The pet is fit and healthy, Grooming which takes place on an elderly or infirm pet will be at the owner's risk. Grooming may expose pre-existing health\skin conditions for which Pooches N' Pals Inc cannot be held liable.
The pet's rabies vaccine is up to date (as required by law) unless otherwise discussed.
In the event of an emergency, in your absence, you authorize Pooches N' Pals Inc.to contact the nearest Veterinarian and authorize the Vet to treat the pet as necessary at your expense.
30% deposit is required on booking with credit card.The remainder of Payment is to be made at the time of service after the groom is complete. Payment can be cash, debit or credit card. Our rates are based on the breed of the pet and duration of the groom. Nail cutting and ear cleaning are part of the service unless the process is too stressful for the pet or too dangerous for the groomer.
“De-matting" or complete coat removal will dramatically alter your pet's appearance. This procedure may expose pre-existing health\skin problems for which Pooches N' Pals Inc. cannot be held liable.
Be kind to our team, they are showing up to take care of your pooch, Be patient, Be respectful, Be Kind. We have a zero tollerance for mistreatment of our Team. The Team is also resposible for being kind to you as well!

Everyone is required to sign our service agreement before every service is completed.

Please do not send a message through our messaging system to cancel or try to move an appointment. Ask about our Online PET PORTAL LINK, we will send it to you for easier booking.
Please arrive on time for your appointment.If you are running late for your appointment, it is up to the discretion of the team to decide if they are still able to accomodate. If you are 15 minutes late there will be a chance the appointment will be rescheduled and a 30% deposit will be incurred. Please ensure your Pooch has a tight fitting collar or harness that won't easily come off. Also please bring them in with a 6 to 8ft lead .The appointment will take between 2 and 4 hours depending on the behavior of your pooch. We also ask that you pick up your pet after we call you. We usually give about a 15 to 20 minute heads up so we allow you enough time to get to the salon after completion of the scheduled appointment,this will be done through text or phone call. If you arrive late for pick up there will be an extra charge added for stay and play. The rate is 1$ per minute.Please try not to be late for drop off or pick up. We appreciate you respecting our time. Please make sure we have the appropriate phone number to contact you or the person picking up your pet.
Please make sure not to interrupt your Pets appointment, this may cause them to lose concentration and we need their full attention during their spaw day.
If there is a family member that drops off your pet for service and they ask for a certain haircut, that is the haircut they will recieve. If someone different picks up your pet and the haircut isn't what you expected then Pooches N' Pals is not held liable, We will be able to fix the groom however extra charges will apply.Please make sure that the person that has given instructions for the haircut is the person dropping off and picking up the pooch! Thank you!

Also if for some reason you need to cancel your appointment, please Give us at least 48 hours notice by calling 905-278-BARK so that we may fill that spot with someone who needs that appointment. If you cancel last minute more then once we will be asking for a 30% deposit to rebook your next appointment.Appointments are now being booked online, New clients MUST BOOK ONLINE!

As for payment. We accept Cash, Debit ,Visa ,Mastercard.
Matted pet policy
If your dog comes in with Matting we do not brush it out. This will take too long and will potentially cause undue stress on your pooch. We will take it to a shorter length. The length is determined by if the Blade will fit under the mat. We will go over this with you in the appointment. We will happily put your pet on a schedule and get your desired length for your dog . Thank you for your understanding and co-operation!
